This stone, in the Newell Cemetery in Attleboro, Massachusetts, is that of Elizabeth Tingley, and is inscribed "the amiable comfort of Mr. Thomas Tingley" Elizabeth is the second wife of Mr. Tingley, who is buried alongside of her, as well as alongside his first wife.

Someone has suggested that "amiable comfort" should actually be read as "amiable conSort", since in the colonial era, typesetters, and apparently stone carvers, often substituted an "f" for an "s".

Founds plaufible!
