Hosts Reading, MA E-Recycling Day
HUDSON,
NH - ReMine Recycling, LLC of Hudson has been chosen as the
vendor of the Electronics Recycling Day in Reading, MA, slated for Nov.
1. The event, sponsored by the local clergy association and the town of Reading, will collect and safely dispose of recyclable materials. Cell phones collected during the event will benefit an organization serving victims of domestic violence. ReMine Recycling, LLC is a Hudson, NH-based recyclables company dedicated to making recycling easier and cheaper for companies, non-profits and individuals. ReMine Recycling is an innovative recyclables broker, collecting, processing and redistributing metals and electronic waste, preventing them from entering the waste stream. ReMine owner Zeke Gable said he was
pleased to take part in the townwide event, which will allow residents
to safely and cheaply dispose of their electronic waste. “If even just ten percent of the town comes out and drops off a computer and monitor, we will have diverted over 57 tons of electronics away from the waste stream, helping protect the environment and allowing the materials in those systems to find new life in products elsewhere,” he said. “We're very excited to be able to be a part of that.” He said ReMine is also honored to be
collecting cell phones during the event to benefit Safe Havens, a group
dedicated to combat domestic violence. ###
