Landscaping’s Yard Makeover Contest
LEE - Jeff & Cheryl Geddis of Lee will be getting a free yard makeover after winning a contest sponsored by a local landscaping company. Make a Difference Landscaping’s month-long Landscaping Makeover contest sought entries describing the most compelling reasons why they should receive a complete makeover to their yard. Owner Naithan Couse said the Geddis’s entry, featuring a creative poem describing their desire to have a vibrant and pretty yard, was among the top three finalists. The winner was chosen among those three in online voting at the company’s Website, makeadifferencelandscaping.com. Other winners were first-runner up Lisa Cole, who received a $250 Make a Difference Landscaping gift certificate, and second runner-up Donna Byson, who won a 100 gift certificate, good for use in future landscaping projects or maintenance by the company. Winners were announced Friday, Aug. 21, on Dover radio station 98.7’s Seacoast in the Morning show with Jeff and Danny. “This was our way of giving back to all those who have shown us support in the past and will in the future.” said Couse. “We were very impressed by the quality of the entries and the desire for people to have beautiful yards.” Make a Difference Landscaping is a 12-employee firm, complete with five crews and a sales department that services the Seacoast region.
