Makeover Contest
A Lee landscaping company is giving away a yard makeover, and they want you to help decide who wins. Make a Difference Landscaping's contest, "The Perfect Makeover," will give a yard makeover to the homeowner who submits an entry describing the most compelling reasons why they should receive a complete makeover to their yard. Owner Naithan Couse says the goal is to make someone’s personal landscaping dreams come true, and to show that they are a landscaping company without boundaries. “We want to do this as a gift to the community,” said Couse. “This is our way of giving back to all those who have shown us support in the past and will in the future.” The last day for submissions is July 15, 2009. Entries may be submitted on the company's Website, makeadifferencelandscaping.com, by email to naithancouse@yahoo.com or by mail to 295 Wadleigh Falls Rd. Lee, NH 03824 Couse says they are seeking the most compelling entries in any format. Entries can be anything from short essays, videos, posters, poems or even songs. Neighbors, friends and family members can nominate others for the prize. Contest rules and entries will be available on the company’s Website, makeadifferencelandscaping.com, and between July 15 and July 29, visitors to the site can vote on the top three submissions. The winner of the Perfect Makeover will be announced in August. The first runner-up will receive a $250 Make a Difference Landscaping gift certificate and the second runner-up will receive a $100 gift certificate, good for use in future landscaping projects or maintenance by the company. Make a Difference Landscaping is a green, Earth-friendly company that creates its own compost from yard clippings, often uses native and dry-tolerant plants, and cuts customer’s lawns at 3” to protect grass root systems. Make a Difference Landscaping is a 12-employee firm, complete with five crews and a sales department that services the Seacoast region, including the Rochester and Northwood areas.
